SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE
AFNAFPO
hosts and maintains the system in San Antonio, TX. This system is directly
connected to the Internet and has no connection to any base infrastructure
(NIPRNet). Software installation or maintenance is not required at MAJCOM
or installation levels.
Users
will be required to have connectivity to the Internet and have an Internet
Browser (see IBPS Hardware and Browser
Requirements). The Base LAN connection is used to access IBPS through
the base Firewall. Users that do not have a Base LAN connection will need
to contract with a commercial Internet Service Provider (ISP) for Internet
access.
